Centerville Addition and First Floor Remodel
The Plan
After a few years of searching for a new home, our clients were unable to find anything that checked all of their boxes. So they decided that staying in their existing home was the best option, but they knew it needed an extensive remodel to allow them to age-in-place. They currently did not have a bathroom, bedroom, or laundry room on the main floor.
We worked with them to create a design for an addition that included a laundry room, accessible bath, and family room that could be transitioned to a bedroom if needed in the future. They also decided to add a covered patio off of the addition to create the perfect spot to enjoy their spacious lot. The project also included updating their existing kitchen and living room . We removed multiple walls to create an open floor plan and relocated their back door and created a mudroom.
