Centerville Bathroom Remodel
The Ask
Our goal was to create a luxurious master bathroom that embodied the client’s dream of a relaxing space with ample storage that elegantly showcased the beauty of nature.
Our Approach
This master bathroom renovation began with the discovery of extensive mold and water damage. Once all damaged drywall and framing were removed, our team focused on creating the client’s elegant, restful space.
The next challenge of this remodel was the free-standing soaking tub. Even though the dimensions of the soaking tub were noted in the design phase, the tub was unable to make the turn from the hallway into the master bedroom. Our ingenious crew removed the center window of the bathroom and lifted the tub though the window to place it in its spot.
The Result
We replaced the vanities with custom made oak cabinets with inset doors and drawers designed by the client. To bring a sense of nature indoors, we installed polished granite countertops with natural stone vessel sinks.
The focal point free-standing sculptured stone soaking tub took its place in front of a panel of windows. The smooth lines and natural material of the soaking tub reinforced the sense of nature and coordinated beautifully with the colors and materials of the vanities and countertops.
Not to be outdone by the tub, the shower features a natural cobblestone floor and blue and gray tile walls. With a rain shower head and multiple body sprays, the entire shower is designed to achieve the feeling of showering under a waterfall in the forest.
