The Zengel Group attended the National Association of Homebuilders’ International Builder’s Show in Orlando Florida. During the three-day show we took part in various meetings, seminars, and walked the sales floor to see the latest trends and new products.  With more than 1,500 manufacturers and suppliers it was hard to see everything but we have compiled a list of some of our favorites.

At the top of our list is black stainless steel. Black stainless steel appliances are the latest kitchen trend. Technology is now being used to connect your doorbell to your smartphone. Ring has developed a line of video doorbells that allow you to see, hear, and speak to visitors at your door with your smartphone, tablet, or computer. They are also motion activated so you can see who is hanging around outside of your house as well. They have various models to fit everyone’s needs.

At the Legrand booth Jim had the chance to chat with Mike from Legrand about some of their new products and modifications to existing lines. We have been using their under cabinet modular in many of our projects because we love how it helps keep your kitchen counters clear and decorative backsplash free of outlets. Legrand provides under cabinet lighting and outlets, as well as accessories to hold cell phones and tablets. Their line of light switches have various features like motion sensors, fan controls, dimmers, and timers. We love all the options that these switches provide and their use of technology in the wave motion sense switch.
